COVID 19 — FAQ

COVID 19 — FAQ

For all you curious cats, I answered frequently asked questions about my studio life during the pandemic.

Are you still painting?
Yep! Luckily, my studio is located in my garage so I am still able to paint. I’m currently working on a couple painting commissions and new works for my next solo exhibition at Museum of Dufferin (tentatively opening this summer).

Are you going to finish your mural at the Oshawa Centre?
As far as I know, the project is postponed, not cancelled. The Robert McLaughlin Gallery has assured me that I will have an opportunity to finish the mural, once it is safe to do so. I don't like leaving work unfinished... so I can't wait to get back up on that scaffolding!

Are you accepting commission requests right now?
I sure am! Normally, there is a waiting period to begin a commission (a few months), but since my public projects and exhibitions are all postponed, I have some gaps in my schedule. Send me an e-mail to discuss a custom painting for your home. To view more information about my commission process, click here.

Can I purchase a painting right now?
You most certainly can. In an effort to help others at this time, I’m offering 10% off (available paintings in my studio) and donating 25% of my proceeds to a hospital or charity of your choice. To view all my available works, click here.

Times are tough. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes—all the time! You can reserve a painting with a 25% deposit and make monthly instalments (of your choice) for the remaining balance. I don't charge any interest. You will receive your painting once the payments are complete.

Can I order a product from your shop?
You can place an order (and I'm thankful for those who do) but you may experience longer than normal wait times. I am able to ship Easel Paintings right away. Prints on wood and Notebooks will ship in 4-8 business days. Scarves, Pouches and Tote Bags are experiencing longer delays. Prints on Acrylic are suspended until further notice. Thank you for your support and patience at this uncertain time.

Sending you strength, health and good vibes!
Amy
